2015 Golf
The 2015 Golf Tournament was held on Friday, 3rd July at Rathfarnham Golf Club
Again, it was a very successful day. Weather was good. We were extremely well looked after by the management and catering staff. Management very kindly gave us permission to be the first Society to play their new course, which had been extended from 15 holes to 18 holes. I must say their new holes have been addition to their course even though somewhat challenging. We had 26 players and 38 for dinner.

The Annual Quiz now regularly brings in a crowd, this time some 15 tables, 60 keen enthusiasts settled down in Old Wesley Rugby Club to attempt to answer the challenging questions. It was good to see a number of new faces. The quiz mistress - Deirdre Chadwick – once again asked the questions, ably aided by her husband, Brian, who fielded any objections – and once again, rejected all of them. It was good to see a number of new faces.

Apologies were received from Billy Butt who was unable to make it due to the Eurovision Circus commitment.
As usual the Friday Evening was used by the visiting Irish group to catch...

2008 Northern Lunch
Once again our Northern Branch managed to provide a sunny day in late September to hold their AGM. It never seems to rain on their parade! This year the venue was the “New Forge Country Club“ located just off the Malone Road. The club looks over the Lagan valley park and contains many sports facilities, one used by the Ulster Rugby squad. The Club provided an excellent facility for the AGM. After the conclusion of business, lunch was served. Unfortunately as time was limited we could not stay ver...

2007 Bridge Evening
A new Event, Bridge night for PPU members and friends, played in the Myles Hall in the College on a cold November evening.
The PPU wanted to find a new way to raise funds for the PPU Bursaries, a laudable idea, as these bursaries are a key part of the activities of the PPU that enable a number of children to attend Wesley College, which might not be possible without the support of such bursaries.
The PPU wanted this to be event that would be remembered with the intention it would become an...
